INFORMING THE TARGET GROUPS ABOUT TUBERCULOSIS AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE INTERRUPTED TREATMENT

During the entire month of December, "For the Present and Future" Organization went to the Health Centers of the mun. Chișinău where the staff  discussed with the target groups about the barriers they met during the treatment, their expectations and questions that  TB patients had. Both patients and medical staff were informed once more about the services provided to beneficiaries within the project. Patients told us about the difficulties faced during treatment, but also success and hopes they had for the next period, after the conclusion of treatment. During our visit at the Health Centers were picked up the lists with persons who abandoned the treatment for various reasons, with those were organized psychological counseling sessions having the aim of returning to treatment.
