"For the Present and Future" participated within "Choose Life" exhibition at MoldExpo

 Together, with other NGOs active in the field of HIV/AIDS, “For the Present and Future” Association " participated within the exhibition "Choose life" at  ModExpo  during the period from 11 to 14 September 2012. The purpose of the exhibition was the propagation of a healthy way of life. The activists of the NGO spread information relating to measures of prevention of HIV/AIDS infection and Tuberculosis,as well. Beside this, the visitors were invited to fill out a questionnaire regarding the knowledge in the field of HIV/AIDS. The questionnaire was fulfilled by 80 visitors with different ages and genres, unfortunately, their responses proved weak knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS and, in particular, the ways of transmission of infection, thus confirming the reasons for extending of HIV infection among the general population. It is necessary to mention, that in society still exists fear of a person HIV infected during the process of communication, that’s why, it is welcome to inform more the population about HIV/AIDS infection and the ways of transmission and how it can be prevented.
